Putting the flavour to flames

I am pretty sure that I was a butcher in my previous life!

Apart from braaiing (BBQ) nearly every night, I do love good meat and especially good quality sausage. This lead me to start making my own when we landed in the UK in 2009.

Work interfered with my passion, so I only made sausage for family and friends till I left the IT industry and I can now do what I am passionate about – play with meat.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy the sausage as much as I love making it.

Leading the party 

​I have been in the catering industry on and off throughout my life. Firstly doing platters and grazing tables when the children were small, then I had a Theatre Restaurant in Durbanville, Western Cape.

Upon moving to the UK, I started off with milktarts and rusks till I went back into IT. On the side, I still continued making occasion cakes where I could use my sugarcrafting skills.

So food, food making and especially eating has always featured throughout my life.

Currently I am chief sausage stuffer and packer!
