Ons doel is om eksklusiewe gehalte-items te verkoop wat met Suid-Afrikaanse tradisies en neigings in gedagte verkry is. Of dit nou is om jouself te bederf, ’n geskenk aan ’n mede-Suid-Afrikaner of bloot vir ’n spesiale geleentheid. Ons het items van klein ondernemings regoor Kanada en Suid-Afrika gesoek, waarvan die meeste handgemaak is. Ons streef veral daarna om projekte te ondersteun wat werkskepping en goeie sake in Afrika ondersteun.

Die Sagole-kremetart (ook Sagole Groot Boom, Venda: Muri kunguluwa (d.i. boom wat brul), of Muvhuyu wa Makhadzi) is die grootste kremetartboom in Suid-Afrika. Dit is in die Limpopo-provinsie geleë en het ’n stamdeursnee van 10,47 meter en omtrek van 32,89 meter. Die kremetartboom het my betower vandat ek my eerste treë gegee het. Dit is werklik ’n merkwaardige, intimiderende boom.
Ek het in die Bosveld-streek van Suid-Afrika grootgeword en het ’n sterk verlange na Afrika wat nooit sal verdwyn nie.
Ons het in 2017 na Kanada geëmigreer en was geweldig bevoorreg om ’n ander land te ervaar en heeltemal verlief te raak daarop. Dit het net sin gemaak dat ons ons gunstelinge met ons nuwe tuiste deel en om te help om die leemte te vul vir al die mense wat soms huis toe verlang.
Ons streef daarna om klein ondernemings in Kanada en Suid-Afrika te ondersteun, om mense in nood te bemagtig, en om ons winkel met gehalte-items te vul wat met absolute liefde en moeite gemaak is.
Our aim is to sell high-end, quality items sourced with South African traditions and trends in mind. Be it to spoil yourself, a gift to a fellow South African or simply for a special occasion. We sought items from small businesses all over Canada and South Africa, most of which are handmade. We especially strive to support projects that support work creation and good causes in Africa.

The Sagole Baobab (also Sagole Big Tree, Venda: Muri kunguluwa (i.e. tree that roars), or Muvhuyu wa Makhadzi) is the largest baobab tree in South Africa. It is located in the Limpopo Province and has a trunk diameter of 10,47 meters and circumference of 32,89 meters. The baobab tree has mesmerised me from the time I took my first steps. It is truly a remarkable, intimidating tree.
I was raised in the Bushveld region of South Africa and have a strong longing for Africa that will never fade.
We immigrated to Canada in 2017 and have been extremely fortunate to experience and fall in love with another country altogether! It only made sense that we share our favourites with our new home and to help fill a void for all the folks who sometimes long for home.
