Charl Fourie is ’n kliniese sielkundige by Windsor Allied Health, met meer as 20 jaar se ondervinding. Die hooffokusareas van die praktyk is om ’n evaluerings- en intervensiediens te bied aan kinders wat sukkel met neuro-ontwikkelingsversteurings (aandaggebreks-/hiperaktiwiteitsversteurings, outismespektrumversteurings, spesifieke leerversteurings en motorversteurings), ontwrigtende gedragsversteurings (opposisie-uitdagende versteuring en gedragsversteuring), angsversteurings, gemoedsversteurings (depressie) en ander emosionele probleme.

Hy het sy Meestersgraad in Sielkunde, is ’n lid van die Australian Psychological Society (APS) en geregistreer by die Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

As ’n lid van die APS College of Clinical Psychologists, het Charl in sowel die staats- en privaat sektor gewerk en het hy op universiteitsvlak verskeie werkswinkels en ’n internasionale konferensie aangebied.

Hy werk met deernis en begrip met elke individu om te help om op hul sterk punte voort te bou en die persoonlik groei te bereik waartoe hulle hul verbind het.

Buiten werk, geniet Charl dit om skaak te speel en tyd saam met sy familie te spandeer.

Windsor Allied Health werk met kinders, adolessente en volwassenes rondom Noord-Tasmanië.

Ons werk met kinders, adolessente en volwassenes met ’n wye reeks emosionele en gedragsprobleme. Ons dienste strek van evaluerings tot terapie in ’n gemaklike en ondersteunende atmosfeer. Ons het geleefde ervaring en fokus daarop om individue te help om te verstaan hoe neuro-ontwikkelingsprobleme werk.

Charl Fourie is a clinical psychologist at Windsor Allied Health, with more than 20 years’ experience.

The main focus areas of the practice are to provide an assessment and intervention service for children struggling with neurodevelopmental disorders (attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders, autism spectrum disorders, specific learning disorders, and motor disorders), disruptive behaviour disorders (oppositional defiant disorder and conduct disorder), anxiety disorders, mood disorders (depression) and other emotional difficulties.

He completed a Master’s degree in Psychology, is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

A member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, Charl has worked in both the government and private sector and has presented at University level, various workshops and an international conference.

With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Outside of work, Charl enjoys playing chess and spending time with his family.

Windsor Allied Health works with children, adolescents, and adults from around Northern Tasmania.

We work with a wide range of emotional and behavioural difficulties in children, adolescents, and adults, providing services that span from assessments to therapy in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. We have lived experience and care deeply about helping individuals to understand how neurodevelopmental difficulties works.
