Introducing locally sourced Irish beef combined with all natural South African spices. They’re gluten free, high protein, low sugar and full on flavour. Delicious Culture Collisions = Hellbent.

Schalk made some sausages for his sons birthday party and it was the best ‘boerewors’ we’d ever tasted. It was then that we decided to start a business, as some of the party-goers asked for a 10kg weekly order. The four of us teamed up and we quickly realized that we should share the delicious flavours of home while using the wonderful produce Ireland has to offer.

Bringing that authentic taste, with an Irish flair. This is also where are name and motto came from. We felt Hellbent on doing our heritage proud, bringing the best quality to every table and not cutting any corners. We also felt passionate about supporting local and using local produce and felt the motto: Great things happen when cultures collide, along with our name, perfectly encapsulates all we stand for.

Our coiled sausages, burgers and meatballs consist of a 100-year-old, South African, recipe and in combination with Irish beef. It is a taste you won’t find anywhere else. There is no added gluten & rusk. High in protein and delicious.
